If you have a modern Windows 7 or Windows XP computer AND keep current
with Windows Updates, you most likely have everything you need to run
the Basic Option Graph program.
If you do not get Windows Updates automatically, do a manual update
before running the program to be sure you are using the latest version
of everything.
In particular, the program needs what is called ".Net" to
run.
How to check if your computer has .Net :
If your computer does not have .Net, you can download it here:

How
to Use the Finished Program
The finished program does not need Installation and we do not provide
an Installer. Because of this, the program will NOT show up on your
Start Menu nor the list of installed programs. If you ever want to delete
the program from your computer, you do not need to "Uninstall"
either - simply delete the program file.
To use the program, double-click the file you downloaded (Basic Option
Graph.exe), from whatever directory you want to keep it in.
In Windows 7, you can Pin the program on your taskbar if you want,
so it is always available and you can start it with a single click.
To Pin the program to your taskbar, use Windows Explorer to find the
.exe file, then drag the .exe file to the taskbar.
You can also put a shortcut to the program on your desktop, by simply
dragging the .exe file to your desktop. Like other programs on your
desktop, it will require a double-click to run.
The
"Unknown Publisher" warning
The first time you use the program, Windows may give you a security
warning saying that the program is from an unknown publisher.
To make the program "known" would require us to pay several
hundred dollars in fees each year, which does not make sense for a $9.98
program.
If this bothers you, do not buy the finished program. Use one of the
other options. That way, the program will be created on your computer,
by you, and Windows will not give any security warnings.
